BriSCA Heritage

In 2004, when the BriSCA FI celebrated it’s fiftieth anniversary, some enthusiasts brought out some old stock cars to show the public the origins of the sport.

Within a short while, interest grew, and ex drivers built some new ones from the old original parts and suddenly there were enough for a race. Now there are up to thirty F2 ‘Junior’ cars out there, and a growing number of F1 cars, which are a unique attraction wherever they go! The Formula One division of BriSCA Heritage stages racing events that demonstrate the way Stockcars were between 1954 and 1990, with most of the cars that regularly race reflecting the sport of the 70's and 80's.

The Formula Two division is for cars that raced between 1960 and 1973, when updated regulations permitted the construction of cars more like those racing today.

This formula always creates a great deal of interest wherever they travel and the FI division will be supporting the FI World Final on the 3rd September for some exhibition and entertainment races.
