Saturday Night Thunder at COVENTRY!
Drivers from all corners of the UK descend on Coventry’s Brandon Stadium this Saturday 23rd July for one of the Midlands biggest ever Oval Race spectaculars!!
Top of the bill are the `hardest’ men in Oval Racing, the National Saloon Stock Cars and with up to 40 cars per race, broad siding 4 abreast around the Brandon shale action will come thick and fast. The grid features virtually all the sports top stars with a huge entry from East Anglia and the South.
Somewhat of a novelty for Coventry are the LADIES BANGERS qualifying for their own WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP which takes place later in the year in Norfolk.
Up to 30 are expected to make up what will be a very full field - but at least the A428 and surrounding roads will be a safer place - The ladies take this very seriously with a lot of long distance travellers including one from Cornwall!
Everyone’s favourite, Banger Racing, takes centre stage and the World of Shale Championship is the main event and with up to 50 cars in each race the disciples of destruction are in for a night of on track anarchy and carnage!
By contrast we have the BriSCA Heritage Cars who takes us back a few decades with amazingly restored cars - and both race classes are ina ction, F1- the big `loud and proud’ chevvy’s and the smaller F2 class - you will be amazed at some of the antique body shells!
Support racing starts slightly earlier than advertised because of the mammoth entry with support class racing from 5.45.pm and the main event formulae from 6.30.pm!

Spedeworth Scotland Tvr will be holding a Reliant Robin Scottish Championship on the 25/9/11 with all promotions being welcome to race in this event, also we do require cars to book in for this event as it may be cancelled if there are no bookings. It's action time again at Coventry Stadium with another non stop evening of family entertainment!
A massive programme features the very best of Stock Car and Banger Racing action and headlining the event are the awesome National Saloon Stock Cars - A massive entry of drivers from all four corners of the UK are expected and with up to 40 of these cars on track in each race, the action is going to come thick and fast - These are the heavyweight full contact `brutes' of the ovals!
We also have an amazing grid of `LADY BANGERS RACERS' - over 20 expected for a World Championship qualifying round for their own big event which takes place later in the Year at the Norfolk Arena.
The evening would not be complete without Coventry's own anarchic BANGER RACING, the masters of demolition and destruction who have produced mayhem and hair raising thrills at each of this years events.
The last ingredient are the BriSCA F1 Heritage Cars, lovingly restored F1 cars from the 70's and 80's including an amazing 6 wheeler!
